Clover Amour Hooks
I received a set of these for Christmas… and I love them. They are so light in my hand. The grips make them easy to hold on to. The shape allows me to easily roll them in my fingers, which means less wrist motion, which means I can crochet for longer periods of time. Click the picture for more product details and to buy.
Gingher 4" Classic Embroidery Scissors
These are my all time favorite scissors. I have tried so many pairs of scissors, and they have all gone dull within weeks of using them, and I only use them on yarn. It’s no fun fighting to cut your yarn ends only to have them pull and fray. I have had this exact pair of scissors for well over a year and they are still cutting cleanly and with ease. I will only buy gingher, now. Click the picture for more product details and to buy.
Knit Picks Yarn Ball Winder
This is the coolest tool and frankly I have a tone of fun using it. It’s turned my messy skeins into easy and manageable cute little cakes of yarn. It’s especially handy for turning hanks of yarn into cakes of yarn with an easy center pull end. Click the picture for more product details and to buy.
12 Months of Crochet with REDAGAPE
I really cannot say enough about this book. I have made so many of the projects in it. Mandy designs beautiful things and her patterns are written so well. The instructions in her book are fantastic and most have photo tutorials included! I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have! Click the picture for more product details and to buy.
Yarn Swift
As if crocheting with your yarn wasn’t enough fun already…this yarn swift makes it super fun to play with your yarn. This combined with the Knit Picks Ball Winder (above) turns hanks of yarn in to beautiful little cakes. I just love it!! Click the picture for more product details and to buy.
Addi Click Tunisian Crochet Hooks
I’ve been using these for a few months and I LOVE THEM!!! The metal hooks have the same feel as the Clover Amour Hooks, so the yarn easily glides on and off the hook. And, can we talk about how cute the little heart stoppers are!! You’ll need the hook set, stoppers, and a set of cords. I say a set of cords because if you’re going to invest in them, get all the lengths, then you’ll be ready to make anything from a coaster to a blanket! It can be a bit of an investment, but so totally worth every penny!
Instant Pot
If you’ve never tried a pressure cooker, especially an electric pressure cooker, you really must! The food is so tasty, and it’s an incredible time saver, and who wouldn’t love more time for crochet!!
Clover Amour Crochet Hooks for thick yarn
There are several sizes available in this hook. They are the best when working with the heavier weights of yarn. The first one, size M/N 9mm is great for bulky weight. The second one, size N/P 10mm is great for super bulk yarn. They can also be used with lighter weight yarns to produce a more open and loose fabric.
